COMMON ENQUIRIES
Everything you need to know about our daily support
We specialise in two main areas: Aged Care Support (helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home) and Disability Support (assisting individuals living with disability in their daily routines, community access, and skill building). Across both areas, our support workers provide practical assistance in five key categories:
- Personal Care: showering, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility transfers, and mealtime assistance.
- Domestic & Household Support: cleaning, laundry, changing bed linens, grocery shopping, and cooking nutritious meals.
- Community & Social Participation: transport to medical appointments or shopping, and companionship for hobbies like walks, reading, music, or gardening.
- Basic Health & Admin Support: medication reminders as prescribed, observing wellbeing changes, and writing daily case notes.
- Skill Development: guiding daily living skills such as simple cooking, handling small change, and using public transport.
Yes, within the regulated scope of a Support Worker. While we do not provide clinical nursing or medical treatment, our support workers assist with medication prompting—reminding and monitoring you to take your prescribed medication on time. We also closely observe any changes in your physical wellbeing, mood, or behaviour, and record detailed daily case notes to keep your family or care coordinator informed.
Absolutely. As part of our Personal Care and Domestic & Household Support, our workers can do the grocery shopping, prepare fresh ingredients, and cook meals tailored to your personal taste and nutritional requirements. If needed, we also provide gentle, respectful assistance during mealtime and help monitor your daily nutrition and hydration.
Yes. Through our Community & Social Participation service, we provide reliable accompaniment and transport support for medical appointments, grocery shopping, community events, and social visits. We also love accompanying clients in their favourite pastimes—whether that is going for a walk in the park, gardening, reading, listening to music, or staying connected with family and friends.
Rather than simply doing tasks for you, our Skill Development approach focuses on empowering you to do as much as you safely and comfortably can. Our support workers patiently coach and encourage practical life skills—such as preparing simple meals, managing everyday pocket money, using public transport, and building social confidence—so you can enjoy greater autonomy every day.
